The Design Consulting team at Regency Lighting is chock full of talent. They excel at understanding the goals and expectations of a project. And they use their expertise to both simplify and dazzle with lighting design.
Erica Hay, a visual production design supervisor on the design team, embodies all of those qualities. Starting with us in November of 2011 as a junior lighting designer, Erica now oversees large-scale production projects and helps our clients to visualize lighting design concepts for their spaces.
"Erica has a passion to serve the customer and it shows in everything she touches," Director of Design Jeremy Ames says. "What I love about Erica is how she is always thinking strategically. She doesn’t just do what the customer asks, but rather, listens to what the customer needs and finds the best possible solution for them. I never once have to question if something will get done when Erica is involved. Her passion to serve the customer drives her to complete everything excellently and on time."
Earlier this year, Erica was recognized by the Lighting Energy Efficiency in Parking (LEEP) Campaign for her work with Arby's.
"Being one of the founding members of the design team, I have been able to witness our team triple in size in the past four years and become highly specialized in the architectural lighting arena," Erica says. "The visual production design group focuses on national account production design where we bring two-dimensional documents into life as three-dimensional, real-life visualizations. My passion is strategizing how we can make a virtual space become a reality before material is even ordered."
